Our Procedures

To ensure a painless experience, we begin by administering local anaesthesia to numb the area around the affected tooth.

The procedure begins with the administration of local anaesthesia to numb the affected area. This ensures that you are comfortable and pain-free throughout the treatment.

Once the area is numb, the dentist creates an opening in the tooth to access the infected pulp. The damaged pulp is then carefully removed from the pulp chamber and root canals.

After removing the infected pulp, the root canals are thoroughly cleaned and shaped. This step involves removing any remaining debris and bacteria to ensure the canal is completely sanitised.

The cleaned root canals are then filled with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha. This material seals the canals to prevent future infection. The access opening is also sealed with a temporary or permanent filling.

In many cases, a crown is placed over the treated tooth to restore its function and appearance. The crown provides additional protection and strength, ensuring the longevity of the tooth.
